Princess Jellyfish (Kuragehime)
This anime is about an 18-year-old jellyfish-loving otaku girl who lives in an apartment (dubbed "The Sisterhood") with several other otaku* ladies, all of whom have trouble socializing with and being in public around "The Stylish" (i.e. anyone who's not an otaku). After meeting a Stylish "princess" who helps our main character (Tsukimi) save a precious jellyfish from certain death, we discover that the princess is actually more of a "queen"... he's a boy.
And this queen is going to rock poor Tsukimi's world!

*"otaku" is a Japanese word meaning nerd, geek, dork (there is a difference, btw) and generally has a sort of negative connotation in Japanese. We use it jokingly in the Anime Club and online, though. Note: "otaku" does not just mean "smart person", as that would be a compliment--it's more along the lines of "weirdo who's obsessed with something". However, I consider myself a proud otaku.
